Blue Ribbon Apple Pie Contest:
  1. The Great Stoneboro Fair in Stoneboro, PA
    2008 Winner of the Blue Ribbon Apple Pie Contest
    Each pie will be judged on the following basis: overall appearance, crust color, flavor, texture, filling consistency, doneness, and creativity.
  2. We are looking for creativity and a variety in the fillings of the pies. The pie must have at least 60% apples in the filling.
  3. The fair will certify the winning apple pie baker, and this person will be eligible to enter the state competition at the PA Farm Show.
  4. This contest is jointly sponsored by the following at the PA Farm Show level: The Pennsylvania Apple Marketing Program, The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, and the Pennsylvania State Association of County Fairs
